How to play

  1. Place stones on the intersections. On a computer, click to play. On a phone, tap once to preview and tap again to play.
  2. A group that is completely surrounded, with no liberties (empty points next to it), is captured.
  3. You can't play a stone with no liberties, and you can't immediately retake a single stone that just took yours (ko).
  4. Full rules: when both players pass in a row, stones plus territory are counted. Capture: the first to capture wins.
